Drill Information

3v3 with dump to start.

3v3 cross-ice. Activity starts with a dump behind one of the team's nets. Play out 3v3 for about 20 seconds. Shifts should be quick.

Optional for the goalies: Goalies must stop the puck and make the first pass.

  • Track puck throughout zone.
  • Be ready at all times.
  • Control rebounds to corners or teammates.

Shooter Focus Points

  • Get open for passes.
  • Communicate to teammates.
  • Backcheck hard if rush occurs.
